Background

Movement of personnel in any organisation is inevitable – Join, Resign, Transfer etc. All these involve changes in many operational systems and notably in Communication Systems. Typically, every Organisation manages these changes through manpower which results in:

Overcome these, Eastcom has introduced MACD Manager which can automate the entire User Account Lifecycle Management process improving Accuracy, Productivity and within defined SLA.

MACD Manager is designed to interface with MS Teams / Zoom Cloud Telephony Systems / IP PBX (Cisco, Avaya, Others…).

MACD Manager has its own database to reflect all the User Details including hierarchy. It has an AD Connector to take input from Microsoft Active Directory directly. Any addition, deletion and change in any of the AD fields will be picked up by MACD Manager and stored in its database and further it updates Cloud Telephony / IP PBX Systems so that user communication is effective.

MACD Manager also takes input from ECOMS™, a unique Provisioning System especially suited to Unified Communication environment. These inputs are also stored in MACD database before updating the Cloud Telephony / IP PBX Systems. The entire operations can be done without any manual intervention.

  • Full automation of Move/Add/Change/Delete (MACD) changes due to movement of staff.
  • Maintain list of Assigned and Un-assigned numbers based on hierarchy so that allocation can be done more effectively to suit unique requirements
  • Reservation of DID nos. Based on Department
  • Reservation based on VIP or Golden numbers
  • MACD based on hierarchy (Provisioning & De-provisioning based on hierarchy)
  • Bulk upload of users and phone attributes through User Management (EUM) & MACD Manager (Data Migration)
  • Automatically de-provision user accounts and profiles when staff are off-boarded.
  • Ensure user accounts and profile data in the Cloud IP Telephony / IP PBX Systems always remain consistent with User Management (EUM)
  • Support role-based access control. Users shall be assigned to one or more defined roles.
